What is an Actinic Theme?

Actinic software comes with a set of default pre built "Actinic Themes" which you can select in the software from the "Design" menu to apply a different design to the layouts of the web site. (Note changing a Theme will change all of the default layouts on your website and overwrite any previous changes made to the Actinic templates).

There are a variety of different themes to choose from. The "Best Seller" Actinic theme shown here is a popular design choice for many who use a default layout for their Actinic web site. Additionally, as well as being able to choose a Theme layout for the site, you can also choose the colours that appear in the layouts. This is done through a process in Actinic called "colourisation". Once the Theme has been selected you can go to a "Color Scheme" menu in Actinic to change the colours on the layouts.

However, some people would rather have a customised Actinic design rather than selecting one of the default ready made Actinic Themes available, so that they can have their own customised design or have the Actinic shop design match the design on the rest of their web site.
