Actinic Layouts

What are Actinic layouts?

Actinic software is made up of a large number of different layouts which are used by the software to build the pages which are uploaded to the website. The main Actinic layouts surround the central content of the page. Default Actinic layouts are included with the software so that you can get started with a basic web design straight away and change layouts and colours as and when needed.

However, many people want their Actinic web site to have a specific design or customised Actinic layouts to match their current or new web site design or corporate image. This is where Peblaco can help.

How do Actinic layouts work?

Actinic is made up of a large number of different Actinic layouts. There are two main Actinic layouts which are used for the design of the pages:

  • Actinic brochure layouts - These surround the central content of the information pages
  • Actinic primary layouts - These surround the central content of the shop and product pages

These layouts typically contain the navigation and overall design which surround the central Actinic content on the site. There can be as many brochure or primary Actinic layouts as needed to give different Actinic layouts for different sections of pages of your website.

Then there are inner layouts which go into the central content area as follows:

  • Actinic fragment layouts - These go into the central area for displaying text and image content
  • Actinic section layouts - These go into the central area for displaying the shop's sub sections
  • Actinic product layouts - These go into the central area for displaying the products
  • Actinic shopping cart layouts - These go into the central area for displaying the shopping cart
  • Actinic checkout layouts - These go into the central area for displaying the checkout stages such as invoice details, shipping details, payment details
  • Actinic receipt page layouts - These go into the central area for displaying the customer's receipt

There are other individual Actinic layouts which can be customised such as the search box, links, text, design areas etc.
